Fun day with the giraffes

We went to Whipsnade Zoo last month and had a blast! I booked the Giraffe Feeding Experience for my daughter's birthday. It was so cool getting to feed them, they're massive! The whole day felt really good, nice and relaxed. Loads of space for the kids to run around too. Definitely a good spot for a family trip.

Great value with family ticket

I was looking for something to do with the kids that wouldn't break the bank, and Whipsnade Zoo's family ticket was a good deal. Booking online definitely saved us some money, plus I checked a few other sites and their direct price was the best I found for advance booking. The children's discount applied automatically, which was handy. We brought our own picnic to save on food costs inside, and there were plenty of places to sit and eat. Felt like we got good value for the amount of time we spent there.

Loved the elephants!

Oh my goodness, Whipsnade Zoo was amazing! I went with my sister and we did the Elephant Encounter, and it was incredible! Getting to interact with them up close was just fantastic, such gentle giants. The whole place is so big and there's so much to see. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be going back, maybe for the rhinos next time!

Good day out, minor hiccup

I booked Day Entry Tickets online for a family of four for a Saturday visit. The website was pretty straightforward for selecting dates and ticket types. I used the online pre-booking discount, which saved us a bit compared to gate prices. Confirmation email came through right away. On arrival, scanning our e-tickets was quick at the gate, no issues there. We took the Safari Bus Tour which was a nice way to see some of the larger enclosures without too much walking. The animals seemed well cared for, especially enjoyed seeing the rhinos up close. My only slight complaint was the queue for lunch at the Hullabazoo Cafe; it was quite long and slow moving, so we ended up just grabbing some sandwiches from the gift shop instead. Overall, a solid experience and the kids had a great time.

Enjoyable visit, some queues

My visit to Whipsnade Zoo was mostly positive. I purchased a Day Entry Ticket online a few days before, which was a smooth process and saved me a little. Getting in was efficient with the e-ticket. The grounds are huge, which is great for seeing animals in larger enclosures, but it also means a lot of walking. We particularly enjoyed the Hullabazoo Farm visit and the variety of animals. However, the Great Whipsnade Railway had a fairly long queue, and we opted not to ride it because of the wait. Customer service at the main entrance was friendly. It's a good place for a day out, just be prepared for potential queues on busy days.
